The eye area is prone to wrinkles. At the same time, the skin here is very delicate and needs gentle care. Do you know how to look after the eye area properly? We’ll advise you what to do (and what not to do) so that tiredness doesn’t show on the delicate skin around your eyes and unnecessary wrinkles don’t form.

Proper eye make-up removal
The basis of eye-area care is undoubtedly thorough eye make-up removal. Going to bed with make-up on your eyes definitely doesn’t pay off. Always use a special remover for the eyes, designed specifically for removing eye make-up.
Ideally, also use the softest cotton pads possible. Apply remover to the pad, close your eyes, press the pad onto the eyelid and wait a moment. Then, with gentle strokes, wipe mascara from the lashes from top to bottom, and remove eyeshadow and eyeliner from the lids. Don’t remove eye make-up with circular motions, and don’t rub forcefully from side to side. If needed, feel free to use another pad. Continue removing eye make-up until the pad is completely clean.

Eye serums and night creams
Once you’ve removed your eye make-up, use an eye serum or cream. As there are no sebaceous glands around the eyes, the skin needs hydration. Before you go to bed, apply a night cream to the eye area. A small amount will be enough. In our range you’ll find eye creams, under-eye pads and balms for the eye area.
Sleep itself is no less important. Those who don’t sleep enough tend to have puffy eyes or dark circles under the eyes. You’ll see that if you get enough sleep, your eyes will appreciate it (and not only your eyes). Are your eyes still often tired? Try soothing hydrogel masks. They hydrate the skin around the eyes, reduce dark circles under the eyes and firm the eye area.

Morning routine
As you sweat at night too and dust floats around you, it’s necessary to cleanse your skin in the morning as well. Rinse your facial skin with water or use make-up remover again. Then you can apply make-up as usual. Use a product with hydrating effects on the skin around the eyes.
